He's trying to trick us into revealing we're in the mafia by saying he is, must tread carefully.

I'm thinking I may be able to use my ability and pretend I'm a daytime vigilante.

I'd be careful, it might make it clear that you're also Ness when you perform a killing, people are unlikely to think Ness is innocent. It'll also raise some eyebrows when the mafia doesn't kill you (and it could draw the ire of the serial killer.)

I voted for Fobby because I think he's a townie, I have my reasons as to why.
Besides, I have an entire day to change my vote.

If the ability is one shot (correct me if I'm wrong) this would be a waste. Even if it isn't one shot this is a waste, you lose the element of surprise. Don't use it. Remember, this is still the first day after all

Yeah, I wouldn't waste it on the first day.
Also, Fobby thinks I'm mafia, I know it, that's why I changed my vote and said because I think he's mafia.
Excellent, TJ has given me a reason to change my vote back to nobody.

We should all definitely not kill Fobby.
For now...

Hans, you've been playing a little too eccentric, especially now that Avalanche has brought you into the light. Try to draw a little less attention to yourself, if it already isn't too late.
Also, I'm off to school. I'll be back in about 6 hours

Yeah you're shifting around a bit too much, it makes you look...... shifty.
Also I'm starting to think Fobby may indeed be mafia, one of our missing members.

That's a pretty good possibility, and one I haven't considered. However, you should probably keep your vote on Fobbs. A change now would be suspicious to say the least.

I'm thinking about voting Hans for now, simply for the fact that it would keep our voting records different. If I vote nobody and blame Hans' suspicion on his newbie status, that in itself could be deemed suspicious. And Hans seems to be in no danger: the Vote: Nobody and Vote: Fobby categories are much higher at this point in time.
What dyou guys think of this? Would it be too risky?

If he really is mafia chance are he may not be that useful to us overall anyway. Last time he acted like this he got ignored for a while but once we ran out of other ideas Fobby was the first target. I suppose he could suddenly flop into a new mindset, he's probably the only one who could potentially get away with it.
In other news I just got this pm from SurgePox:
"Look, maybe you're just playing me really well, but I am getting a vibe that you're on the same side of things that I am here. I suggest we try to combine our efforts here, I think we could do a lot of damage to the mafia together.
2/3"
This is.... surprising. Now obviously I want to be cautious here, don't want to seem to eager to manipulate an innocent. Here's my reply:
"Oh wow, I'm a little surprised to see this stuff starting this early. I suppose I'll trust you for now but I'm sure you can forgive me for being a little cautious and taking what you say with a grain of salt. If the last game taught us anything it's that you've gotta be careful who you trust and what you say in private. I'll trust you be I'll still be wary of you until I have more reason to believe you.
Also 2/3? I'm assuming that means this is your second pm for the day but isn't the pm limit in this game 5 not 3? either way this is still my first pm so far."
Perhaps it's time to start fabricating a fake role for myself. Being the godmother I'm more likely to need a convincing one. Unfortunately unlike Raya in the last one I probably can't get away with using my real one.

Ninjad by being slow and replying to Surge at the same time. I say if you want to vote for Hans go for it. If you were innocent would you be voting for Hans right now? If so go ahead, we've got to act as natural as possible in these early stages. Spreading out our votes right now can't hurt and yeah chances are Hans isn't in too much danger. Just remember if you do decide to switch off him make sure you can provide a good reason for doing so.

I found Fobby to be a better option atm, simply because if he turns out to be on our side after I avoided voting for him so pointedly first round I'd look suspicious to any wary player (of whom we have quite a few in this game). I also think he is indeed smart enough to plan to draw out the cop, so whether he was trying to do so or not, my theory is plausible. After seeing SIAB and others do the same thing, I figured the newbie card could be a legitimate semi-excuse.

I think too much, I suppose I should just leave my vote for now, if you want to vote for me, go right ahead but if I'm about to be lynched Ansem is gonna get assasinated, or maybe Avalanche, he seems rather intelligent.
